I'm taking the reigns of Saturday morning
I'm riding that beast to a happier place
I will dance with a person I've yet to encounter
the sidewalks of tension
I'll consider no more.

I will dance with a stranger downtown
and remember
when every face belonged to a friend.
I will make people stop
in the midst of the busy
and they'll think and they'll smile
. . . and join in the dance.
